MANUKULAM

[अ (सृष्टिः) + उ (स्तितिः) + म (लयः)] (ओङ्कार - Oṅkāra / ओंकार - Oṃkāra / प्रणवः - Praṇava) प्रतिपाद्य (Pratipadya: Ascertainable / Expounded / Predicable / To be treated as) विषयस्य (Objective and Subjective), His Kindness, परब्रह्मणा (by Para Brahman), व्यक्तव्यः (Manifested) the वेद (Véda : Knowledge, Wisdom) for welfare and uplifting of Individuals. Thus वेद is अपौरुषेय (Apauruṣeya: Not of a Man) which is derived from the root विद् (Vid - "to know"), is a स्वतः प्रमाणः (Svatah Pramana - self-evident) of knowledge. The द्रष्टा (Draṣṭā - One who realized First) of Vedas are the ऋषयः (Seers, Great Sadhus or Sages) who, after intense Meditation and Experience realized the Supreme Truth and gained Eternal Knowledge. They composed the वेदाः into Hymns and also propagated the same to all Individuals, especially to मनुकुलम् (Man-Kind) through श्रुति (śruti - what is Heard) and स्मृति (śmṛti - what is Remembered).

One such Smrti is मनुस्मृति (Manusmriti) which is also called मानवधर्मशास्त्र (Mānava-Dharmaśāstra) or Laws of Manu, owes back to Vedas as below:



वेदोऽखिलो धर्ममूलं स्मृतिशीले च तद्विदाम् । आचारश्चैव साधूनामात्मनस्तुष्टिरेव च ॥ - Manusmriti 2.6

Meaning 1: The whole Veda is the (first) source of the sacred law, next the tradition and the virtuous conduct of those who know the (Veda further), also the customs of holy men, and (finally) self-satisfaction (Atmasantushti).

Meaning 2: The root of the religion is the entire Veda, and (then) the tradition and customs of those who know (the Veda), and the conduct of virtuous people, and what is satisfactory to oneself.

वेदः स्मृतिः सदाचारः स्वस्य च प्रियमात्मनः । एतच्चतुर्विधं प्राहुः साक्षाद् धर्मस्य लक्षणम् ॥ - Manusmriti 2.12

Meaning 1: The Veda, the sacred tradition, the customs of virtuous men, and one's own pleasure, they declare to be the fourfold means of defining the sacred law.

Meaning 2: The Veda, tradition, the conduct of good people, and what is pleasing to oneself – they say that is four fold mark of religion.

The closing verses of Manusmriti declares and triggers ultimatum of कर्मयोग (Connection by Action)

एवं यः सर्वभूतेषु पश्यत्यात्मानमात्मना । स सर्वसमतामेत्य ब्रह्माभ्येति परं पदम् ॥ - Manusmriti 12.125

Meaning 1: He who thus recognizes in his individual soul (Self, Atman), the universal soul that exists in all beings, becomes equal-minded towards all, and enters the highest state, Brahman.

With the Cyclic Measure of Time, in the currently running Kalpa (1 Kalpa = 1 Brahma Day) called Shveta Varaha Kalpa, currently running Manvantara (7th Manu) called Vaivaswata Manvantara, and in currently crossed Dwapara (28th Dwapara Yuga), An 28th Incarnation with same name, Great Sage व्यास (Vyās - Compiler), Classified these abundant Vedas into 4 (ऋग्वेद Rigveda, यजुर्वेद Yajurveda, सामवेद Sāmaveda and अथर्ववेद Atharvaveda). Due to His, this purpose of coming down to Earth and complete Works on Knowledge of अपौरुषेय वेद, is being considered as incarnation of परब्रह्मन् (Para Brahman) - Lord Vishnu himself, so being called as वेदव्यास (Veda Vyāsa - the one who classified the Vedas). वेदव्यास also authored Great Sutras, Historical Epics, Puranaas, Upanishads and many more to propagate Essence of Vedas, which later followed by In-numerical Great Sages, and tried to propagate the same essence to the World, throughout their Living.

All Individuals, especially, the मनुकुलम् owes to such an Evolution, Thought Process and Life Style. मनुकुलम्, inherits the Abundant Knowledge and Essences of Vedas, respects its Spirits, Ways of Life, Ways of uplifting and begun through Eras of different योग; (Rooted from Yuj: to attach, join, harness).

The Hymns of these Sacred Texts also expound the 4 पुरुषार्थ (puruṣārthas) [धर्म - Dharma + अर्थ - Artha + काम - Kama + मोक्ष - Moksha] needed for मनुकुलम् by engaging the Individuals into प्रवृत्ति (Pravritti - giving or devoting one's self to) and निवृत्ति (Nivritti - withdrawing and restraining one's self from), by expediting their own Internal Virtues. The 4 Internal Virtues (वर्णः) of people being ब्राह्मण (Brahmin) towards Priest-ship, Scholar-ship and Lecturer-ship, क्षत्रिय; (Kshatriya) towards Ruler-ship, Warrior-ship and Administrator-ship, (Vaishya) towards कृषि (Agriculture), व्यापार (Mercantile) and (Shudra) towards Laborer-ship and Service Providing, are Natural Traits given to Individuals.

With the grace of same परब्रह्मन्, great ऋषिs, and गुरुs, मनुकुलम् - MANUKULAM, as a Business Organization, is emerging out, for uplifting the Individuals in the Society, to achieve their पुरुषार्थ, by identifying and expediting their Natural Internal Virtues. ॥ तत्संबंधे, अतः, मनुकुलस्य, कर्मयोगस्य प्रवृत्तिर्निवृत्तेषु, अभ्युदयपरंवैभवेषु, योग्यतानुसारे सिद्धिद्वारा, पुरुषार्थ सिद्यर्थं, धियोयोनः प्रचोदयातिति, अस्माकं गुर्वंतर्गत परब्रह्मणः प्रेरणेया, परब्रह्मणः प्रीत्यर्थं, परब्रह्मण्यैव प्रार्थनाम् समर्पयामि ॥
